Look! 1994 Oldsmobile Cutlass Cierra S is evolving!
1994 Oldsmobile Cutlass Cierra S has evolved into 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix!
That's right, I bought a new car. Yesterday. It was the most boring experience of my life. But at least now I have a car that isn't crap. If you live in the area, Crown Buick is probably the best place to get a GM-made vehicle. We've been going to them for like 10 years to get our vehicles. I'm pretty satisfied with the deal I got, and I got some of their extra little programs like the GAP insurance and roadside assistance and the warranty that lasts for 5 years. And in 5 years I'll be able to trade up. Go me.
But it's a pretty good car. V6 3.8 litre engine, 18 inch wheels, remote start, CD player, a little LCD that displays all kinds of useless readouts... the only things it doesn't have is OnStar and an input for my MP3 player. But that's okay. Now I can actually listen to my CD's again. I'm gonna have to start saving up some money to get a better stereo installed. The factory one is nice, but I can get a better one. It's technically used. It's one of their program cars (one that they used to show off the new model) so it only had 29,000 miles on it and I got it for a very decent price. And they were very nice about the warranty. Usually the warranty is 5 years or 50,000 miles. But since the car already has 29,000 miles on it, they upped the mileage to 79,000 miles so I get to use the full 50,000 miles. Of course, I had to sign that big contract that has me sign away my left arm, right leg, and soul over to GMAC financing. I'm gonna have to tune it up though. It's sluggish in accelerating, but I know how I can get that fixed. And eventually it's gonna need a new paint job. It's just flat white. I wonder how much it would cost to get it painted in some of that paint that changes colors?
Anyway, that was just a little something for myself.
Laterz.
